Our Program Facilitators
Simone Isemann is a psychologist who has Masters in both Clinical Psychology and Coaching Psychology.
Simone manages the clinical services at Lifeline Harbour to Hawkesbury Sydney and also sees clients within the bulk billing service.
Simone works with clients who may have a wide range of issues including Hoarding Disorder, Depression, Anxiety, Trauma and life transitions and adjustments.
Simone draws on her knowledge of Positive Psychology, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy ( DBT) and Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help clients work towards increased resilience and well-being.
As well as seeing individual clients, Simone co-facilitates the Hoarding Treatment Program and the 16-week psychological skills group, “Managing your Mood”.
Simone strongly believes that groups provide a positive environment for learning and connecting with others.
Simone hopes that the group programs will help each participant on his or her journey towards increased well-being.
Jeanette Svehla is a psychologist and has more than 15 years experience working in mental health at Lifeline H2H. She has also worked as a group facilitator in a private mental health hospital for the past 6 years.
Jeanette enjoys facilitating group treatment programs and working with group participants to increase insight, provide support and develop skills to build resilience and wellbeing.
Jeanette works with a range of clients and issues including anxiety, trauma, mood disorders, substance misuse, life transitions and adjustment issues. She has a special interest in veterans and their family member and has worked extensively with clients with hoarding disorder for the past 10 years.
As well as seeing clients individually at Lifeline H2H, Jeanette co-facilitates the Hoarding Disorder Treatment group and the Manage Your Mood group, a skills based program based by Dialectical Behaviour Therapy.
Linda Eliott is a Clinical Psychologist who works mainly in private practice.
Linda has a Masters degree in Clinical Psychology, and is trained in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness-based therapies, Hypnosis and Narrative Therapy.
Linda has facilitated the ‘Being Mums’ group in Mona Vale for the past ten years and has a passion for working with mothers and fathers in their adjustment to parenting.
Over the years, Linda has seen the benefits that mums and their families gain from the supportive environment of sharing with others, and learning skills together in the group.
Ceiny Maybury delivers training in Suicide Prevention and Mental Health, to student Telephone Crisis Supporters at both Lifeline Harbour to Hawkesbury Sydney and Lifeline Northern Beaches. She also delivers training to other tertiary and corporate organisations.
As a face to face counsellor with many years’ experience in the area of suicide bereavement, Ceiny believes that everyone has the right to be heard and given the opportunity to share their grief.
Group members, with the lived experience of suicide bereavement, are the experts in this area and Ceiny believes that those bereaved by suicide, benefit by sharing their grief with those who “really get it”.
Caroline McGrory has been working at Lifeline Harbour to Hawkesbury Sydney on the 13 11 14 line since 2003 as a telephone crisis supporter and supervisor.
She has a Graduate Diploma in Counselling for Health and Social Care. She has been a personal counsellor and group co-facilitator since 2015 and is currently co-facilitating the Suicide Bereavement Support Group.
Caroline uses a person-centred approach and has professional experience dealing with Domestic Violence, Sexual Assault, Mental Illness and Suicide Prevention. She believes in encouraging and empowering our clients to reach their own personal goals.
Alison Wallace is a Clinical Social Worker with postgraduate studies in Couple and Family Therapy.
Alison has studied, and applies, the appropriate interventions for her clients, drawing on strategies from Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Dialectic Behaviour therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Attachment theory, Trauma Model, a Family Systems Approach and Interpersonal Psychotherapy.
Alison works with children, adolescents and adults in individual, couple and family therapy.
She has been active in the development and delivery of a range of group programmes and seminars, and has worked in many Mental Health Care settings, in both the Public Health System and in Private Practice.
Olivia Saxon has a Masters in Counselling and Psychotherapy and has been working as a face to face counsellor at Lifeline Harbour to Hawkesbury Sydney for 2 years, seeing a diverse range of clients, with issues such as depression, anxiety, bereavement, relationship and work issues, and trauma.
She practices using a range of therapeutic techniques including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Positive Psychology and Psychodynamic Therapy and works at the client’s own pace to provide a safe nurturing environment in which to explore the client’s journey forward.
Olivia has recently also taken on facilitation for the Black Dog REACH program, and she is also currently facilitating the support group for the Hoarding program run by Lifeline.
Olivia strongly believes that groups provide a nurturing, positive and safe environment for learning and connecting with others, giving participants an increased sense of hope as well as providing them with invaluable new skills.
Jane Dartanian is a Registered Psychologist who has a Bachelor of Psychological Science and a Graduate Diploma in Advanced Psychology.
She has completed numerous training programs in a wide range of subject areas including Intellectual Disability and Mental Health, Self-Harm and Suicide, Anxiety and Distress Tolerance, Trauma, and Grief and Traumatic Loss.
She sees clients from various ethnic and socio-economic backgrounds, including adults and adolescents. Jane's areas of interest include depression, anxiety, grief & loss, anger management, relationship issues, addiction, personality disorders and complex trauma.
She has strong interpersonal and counselling skills, using Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and a variety of therapeutic approaches.
She is a member of the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
Judy Dalgarno has a background in performance and personal coaching and has been a volunteer at Lifeline Harbour to Hawkesbury Sydney for over 9 years as a telephone crisis supporter, supervisor and training facilitator.
She holds a Bachelor Degree in Counselling (Coaching) and has assisted as co-facilitator on the Hoarding Treatment Group and the R.E.A.C.H. Wellbeing Group Program.
She is currently co-facilitating the Wellbeing Support Group and The Hoarding Support Group. Judy is passionate about her work within Lifeline Harbour to Hawkesbury Sydney and supports clients experiencing anxiety, depression, hoarding disorder and suicide ideation.
Her focus is building on the client’s existing strengths and fostering goal attainment through a person-centered and strength-based approach to counselling using techniques including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Positive Psychology. Judy’s approach prioritizes the creation of a trusting, caring and safe therapeutic ‘space’ for the client to enhance their optimal wellbeing.
Susanna Rebbeck is a registered psychologist with a Doctorate in Educational and Child Psychology. She trained in the UK where she worked as an educational psychologist in schools and the community, including individual and group therapy with young people and running parenting programmes.
Susanna draws on her knowledge of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Attachment Theory to support the children and young people she works with. She has experience of working with a range of young people with issues including anxiety, depression, OCD, learning difficulties, bereavement, self-harm and suicidality.
Susanna is currently co-facilitating the Manage Your Mood group for adolescents, a skills-based program based on Dialectic Behaviour Therapy. She also works as a School Psychologist for the Department of Education.
