Support our Christmas Hampers

Christmas can be particularly difficult for those in our community experiencing financial hardship, social isolation or distress. But our Christmas Hampers, which have been generously donated, bring relief and joy.

Providing food is a practical and sometimes necessary way of letting people know we care –
your donation of non-perishable food items will make a difference.

Make a financial donation today

Give from the heart

Christmas is a time for giving, and when you donate financially to our Christmas Hampers, you’re maximising our ability to help families and individuals in need in our local community.

Donations mean we can purchase gift cards from supermarkets, allowing recipients to choose what they’d like to purchase during this season and making the experience more personal.

It may be something they've always had at their Christmas table but can't afford this year, or perhaps it's something special for their kids, a favourite food that lets them know it's Christmastime.

This Christmas, make sure everyone can have something special at their table.

Make Christmas special

When you think of Christmas, food and sharing time around the table quickly comes to mind. But when money is tight, and you're under pressure, it can make what's supposed to be the most wonderful time of the year very difficult.

By donating non-perishable food items to our Christmas Hampers, you can bring a little Christmas cheer to those in our community doing it tough. Please make sure all items are within the use-by/best-before date and don't contain any alcohol. Suggestions include:

  • tinned ham
  • mixed nuts, chips, savoury biscuits
  • Christmas cake, Christmas pudding, fruit mince pies
  • long-life custard
  • canned fruit
  • assorted sweets or chocolates
  • shortbread, festive biscuits
  • Milo, hot chocolate, coffee, tea
  • gifts can be added into the Christmas Hampers, such as toys, stationery, books or gift cards.

Give the gift of kindness

Imagine being able to have some special treats at Christmas for the kids, enjoy some festive food as a family, or let someone who is on their own at Christmas know you care. That's what you can do when you give to our Christmas Hampers – that's the difference you can make to someone in our community, or a family, this Christmas.

Please leave all donations at the Lifeline Harbour to Hawkesbury Sydney Head Office in Gordon or other designated collection point no later than Friday 1 December. Collections can also be made by prior arrangement – please contact us if you have any queries about your donation or our Christmas Hampers.

Thank you for your support. Together, we can make sure those in our community finding things difficult can still enjoy the Christmas spirit.
