Emergency Relief

The Emergency Relief Service provides immediate support for people who are in financial crisis. Assistance offered may include food parcels, food and petrol vouchers, information and referral.

Emergency Relief appointments can be made by calling 9498 8805. During an appointment with staff, the form of immediate support required will be discussed (eg. food vouchers, help with bill payments), while also focusing on long-term outcomes, such as increased financial independence, community connection, and improved health and wellbeing.

There are limits around the number of times the service can be accessed to ensure the maximum number of people can be supported equitably.

Emergency Relief is for people who live in the Northern Sydney and Hornsby region.

This is a no fee service.
