Help give a Christmas to local families who are struggling

Every Christmas, many people in our community experience financial hardship or social isolation, and find themselves struggling to make ends meet and to cope with varying levels of distress, due to factors such as job loss, broken relationships and loneliness.

Over the past few years, a large area of our catchment, the Hawkesbury, has been heavily impacted by devastating floods. Families in this area have been forced out of their homes on several occasions and have had to deal with the horrific damage caused by the floods whilst trying to move forward.

Parts of the Hawkesbury region have also been cut off and isolated for weeks on end, meaning many individuals have not been able to go to work and support their families. Christmas is a time of giving, and here at Lifeline Harbour to Hawkesbury Sydney, we would like to give back to those who have been most heavily impacted. Our hope is that these hampers will provide some relief to these families by providing them with essential gift cards and food, to help support them through the festive season.
